Carol, Thanks for dropping by my BBQ blog. If I remember right about South Carolina BBQ they are not into barbecue sauce. Everything is done with fruit wood and they use only fruit juices to mop or mist. Quite a few years ago my wife and I traveled to Charleston, and it is one the places we would like to go back to dearly.
