Supper Club

My last post talked about friends, old ones and new ones. Opening the door in South Carolina has been easy. People in this state are wonderful. Living in Minnesota most of my life, we heard about Minnesota nice. Well, I have to say, South Caroline measures high in friendly. This picture is of our first "Supper Club" there are four couples that get together once a month for supper and friendship.

John and I hosted the first, and did the Minnesota Hot Dish plan. Yes, hot dishes. Giggle. To tell you how wonderful the new friends are, they loved them. But that's a different subject. Today I just want to show you who is making feel so welcome here in the south.

God Bless all that travel through my blog.

Carol

  4. New to your blog! I love supper clubs! I miss them. Having 4 little kiddos make that harder to do and actually enjoy the supper and the clubbers. :) But we will one day be able to go it again! But I love the time with my babies, too. :)

  5. I am so happy to hear you have made friends, Carol. My husband has a resume being presented in Tempe/Phoenix area which is VERY foreign to me. Although we would do just about anything to get out of Vermont, other than move to Minnesota! which was a choice four years ago :-), it is a bit scary. It is SO in the beginning of such a move, but I always like to do my research. Isn't it wonderful you found a great landing?

  6. Wonderful. It's so difficult to make new friends as an adult. My husband and I have each other and we see a "couple friend" once or twice a year. But we do wish we knew some other people we could invite to dinner, etc.I'm always so grateful to have him as my best friend. I'm so happy for you. Hugs! Katherine
