United We Stand.

I say this because we need to respect not only the flag as a group but the service persons who keep our freedom strong.

Thanks for the flag and our brave men and women who serve.

Flag Day...hurray!

I'm Back...

Wow, I miss this place, it's my little haven away from real world. It's where I place my thoughts and often my feelings. So you wonder where I have been? I have to say, I have had a great time. This year we've had lots of family company; for weeks at a time. I also can say that I wasn't used to having company this much.

When you have so much company, you find yourself immersed in that world. The real world, not like the one that is often quiet and uneventful. I usually have time to think of my virtual world or journal. I come up with ideas and as the day goes on, it gets better or it's a post you never see.

I think what I am saying is that even if I missed this virtual world, it was nice to have loved ones that after a week of being with me....still loved me. As most of you know, I never lack in words and for that reason, often not only wear my husband out but my guests. Maybe I am growing up or they are more tolerant. Whatever the situation, it was a blast.

I have lots to show you, our garden is growning and our new project is going smooth.

God Bless ya'll

It's been a long time coming.

I wanted the plants to grow up a little before I showed you our back yard. I am loving it.

The world keeps changing.

I watch out my window in Carol's studio with interest in the world I have come to know. At six months old, I have learned so much. Humans are very interesting. They request obedience but in return give so much love.

Over the last few months I have entertained many humans. They tell me they are family. But what I know is how they act towards my humans and therefore how I treat them.

I also have a new love, her name is Helen. Be still my heart. She lives across the street from me. I know she loves me by the look in her eyes when she comes to see me after a long day of work. I also know she has a lot of things going on in her life. So I'm making sure my tail wags as fast as it can, and that my butt follows. She deserves lots of attention.

Life has been good to me. What more can happen, what more fun will I experience?

This wag is for you.

Family and Fun

I have been a little absent because of my family visiting. They are wonderful people, as all of my family. Relaxing, a glass of wine at night before dinner and a little touring. I am a day behind but who really cares. Smile. On a beautiful day we went to the only surviving covered bridge in South Carolina. With picnic lunch in the cooler and cold drinks in hand we took a twenty minute trip to a beautiful site.

More than reading the plaques are the people who decided this site was worth saving. What insight and determination. No Federal funds were used or state funds were used to preserve the site. These people are a wonder to me and because of them we are privileged to eat our lunch and oversee the wonders of mankind.

God Bless those who travel through my life and little blog.
