I love summer.

I have to say the last few cards I have designed really reflect the summer that just started a few days ago. On the other hand it feels as though it's been here for over a month. Not complaining. So I decided to design some really summer feeling cards. Hope you enjoy.

God Bless everyone who wants to be. For you others...have a nice day.

Me and Lammie....

The other day a box arrived from PetCareRx. As Carol opened the box I new it was for me. Out from the box came a new lamb stuffed friend. She handed it to me and off I went, making a new friend and introducing him to his new home.

I had never seen anything so big. Lammie was huge, almost as big as me. Oh my gosh, lammie was wonderful. But after a few days of playing with lammie, I introduced him to my favorite place. My landing upstairs by the window. We both took a nap, as Carol would say attitude adjustment time.

Moral of the story is...be good and get new friends.

Happy Father's Day

I lost my father many years ago. But even today I think of him with more love because I have grown to know the great things he did. The world will never think of him as accomplished but with my family he was great. And that's the only thing that matters here under the sun.

To those of you in the midst of fatherhood, honor the position, be faithful to it. This is your biggest accomplishment.

Heat hasn't stopped us...

The last family to visit us was my dear nephew and his wife, whom I consider friends more than relatives. We had about two weeks between visits so we were inspired to start our structure on the back deck. We decided to build a little privacy from our neighbors and at the same time add some shade. We know the project could not be completed at that time, mostly because of the heat. But wanted to get a start on our pergola. It will be fall when all things come together, but thought you would love to see the start.

The second picture is the house without the yard work or structure. I know it's ugly, but we are working on changing that.

Sincerely

United We Stand.

I say this because we need to respect not only the flag as a group but the service persons who keep our freedom strong.

Thanks for the flag and our brave men and women who serve.

Flag Day...hurray!

I'm Back...

Wow, I miss this place, it's my little haven away from real world. It's where I place my thoughts and often my feelings. So you wonder where I have been? I have to say, I have had a great time. This year we've had lots of family company; for weeks at a time. I also can say that I wasn't used to having company this much.

When you have so much company, you find yourself immersed in that world. The real world, not like the one that is often quiet and uneventful. I usually have time to think of my virtual world or journal. I come up with ideas and as the day goes on, it gets better or it's a post you never see.

I think what I am saying is that even if I missed this virtual world, it was nice to have loved ones that after a week of being with me....still loved me. As most of you know, I never lack in words and for that reason, often not only wear my husband out but my guests. Maybe I am growing up or they are more tolerant. Whatever the situation, it was a blast.

I have lots to show you, our garden is growning and our new project is going smooth.

God Bless ya'll

Carol
